A few years ago I put together a collection of adages and sayings that I had collected over the years. I figured I’d share it with my children because, a.) they might be interested in the wisdom others have shared over the years and b.) they might better understand what makes me tick, since out of many choices, these are the sayings and passages that “make sense to me”.
