Most of my musical posts up to now have been just audio files, but it occurred to me that there is no reason at all why I can’t post music videos as well.
When Amy Winehouse rose to fame I didn’t quite “get” her and didn’t explore any of her work. NEVER judge a book by her cover. Her grunge appearance, raspy voice, and seemingly drugged up countenance put me off a bit. THEN I ran across this performance and I was floored by it. EVERYTHING about it is cool…the venue, Amy herself, the audience, her two very cool male backup singers, and her band all work together to make for a great performance.
