My dream house.
Sorry the photo seems a tad off kilter; I could have fixed it, but since the house is kind of a wreck, the tilted image seems kind of fitting.
Back in the 1990’s the family went to France, first stopping in Paris and then driving down to Normandy. This we soon after a HUGE windstorm/hurricane came out of nowhere and ripped through a large portion of France and Great Britian. The devastation was huge, and even though the storm had been several weeks before we arrived, there were still large brush piles burning everywhere.
While en route to Normandy we passed this fabulous old house. You can see all the wood piled up on the right. But what is most interesting is the story/stories your mind tells about how this house got in this condition, whether it was currently actively occupied…or abandoned or for sale or….????
