I took this picture while out fishing with my brother-in-law several years ago. I’ve cropped out a fair amount of the right side of the image that contained a large tent and several jeeps preparing for a wedding later that day. Some wedding venue, for sure. But I just preferred the simplicity of the lighthouse by itself.
As for how/why it look more like a painting than a photo, I really don’t know. I don’t ever remember fooling around with filters to make it look this way. However it might have happened, I think it looks great…like the point.
