Buddy Guy is amazing for so many reasons, least of which is he’s one of the best blues guitarist on the planet. Some folks are flashier, faster, slicker, but Buddy has the blues in his blood. No matter the song, no matter if he is backing up Junior Wells or playing lead, he always knows exactly the sound…the volume, the speed, the chords, the picking, to perfectly complement the song and make it that much better.
At age 88 he is starting to thing about getting older and wondering if he’s reaching the “End of the Line”. I don’t think he’ll ever get to the end…he’ll play right up to the day he dies.
