At the forefront of the emerging folk-rock genre of music in the 60’s were The Byrds and the American-Canadian band Buffalo Springfield…named after a steamroller manufacturer. Their debut album in 1967 had several great songs on it including the big hit “For What It’s Worth…as confounding as the title might have been. It was THE new protest song and young and old alike adopted it.
